I'm having this error while running Ejabberd on a linux machine

TYPE ASSERTION FAILED, file beam/erl_term.c, line 106: tag_val_def: 0x18
Aborted

Hello,

i suspect you might be using a version of ejabberd compiled with a different version of Erlang.
Is it the case ?

Thanks for the response. Here are the versions I used:

- Erlang: version 5.5

- Jabber: Ejabberd 1.1.1

- Server: Red Hat Enterprise.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

my point was about the version of erlang to compile ejabberd. Did you compile ejabberd with erlang r11 (5.5) ?
Did you try to recompile ejabberd ?
