what persistent storage do you use to compliment mnesia (for the more transcient usage)?

im planning to use mnesia as a more transcient storage, updated with data from a more persistent storage like mysql.

What are you persistent storage strategies to compliment mnesia? I'd also like you to take two seperate scenario's : (i) running on single node (ii)running on multiple nodes
