Hi,

I've just published a blog article about setting up a simple Linux appliance using SUSE Studio for hosting an Erlang application.

The process involves installing Erlang from a repository, adding your Erlang application, and a script which will automatically generate a release and boot script when the appliance boots for the first time.

The article is available here: http://joefreeman.co.uk/blog/2009/08/deploying-an-erlang-appliance-with-suse-studio/

Any feedback on the article and the approach are welcomed. I'm wondering whether automatically generating the release file defies the point of releases?

Thanks.
