I'd like to introduce estring – it's a set of functions that I've found useful in my projects and hopefully you will too.

Please let me know if you have any problems/requests/suggestions. The README has all of the function explanations but I'll list a few examples to give you an idea of what's included:
estring:begins_with("fancy pants", "fancy").
true
estring:similarity("epsn sporrts", "espn sports").
0.8181818181818182
estring:strip_split("first,second,third \n", ",").

Hi,
Ok, I've added it to the projects page  . I guess my crawler caught your project on github after you created it, but before you committed code to it. So it discarded it as not Erlang (it would have re-crawled it eventually... in about 3 months  ).
