Hello,

When performing a release in interactive mode, the sys.config file that comes with the release is consulted (if any), but any value defined in the config file(s) passed with the -config parameter to erl are lost.

I believe this is not an intended behaviour. At least, the config(4) man page isn't explicit about this.

The problem is in release_handler:change_appl_data/3.
