<  Ejabberd mailing list  ~  Stream compression, problem?

Hi,

There is ongoing topic about stream-compression due to recent PSI (darcs build) support for that feature. Please look at this thread:

it seams that there is bug somewhere (in ejd or psi itsefl), that i cannot identify my self.

We've been using ejabberd's zlib compression support for quite a
while now, with a custom client that connects via old-style SSL,
rather than using TLS as we really should. SSL+zlib works great for us.

ok so now everything is clear. (somehow it is obvious, as long tls it self support compression....)

ejabberd supports STARTTLS or stream compression on one connection but
not both.
