These are the submitted entries in the Trapexit logo contest (see this thread). The poll will be open until Sunday August 12th.
Please note that we have reduced the quality of the logos to fit them on the same page while not affecting download times. We will work with the winner to ensure that the quality is perfect.

No offence... but 1,2,3 and 8 should be BANNED from this contest vote!
I voted for #6 but to be really honest... none of them are really "wow!". |

Why should they be banned? Please motivate.

| Everyone who submitted should be given a chance, and the winner is picked based on who gets the largest number of votes. As simple as that. |

Sorry I wasn't clear enough... but I thought it was pretty obvious.
The reason I said what I did was because I think they are hideous! But as I said though... no offence, it could just be me who has an awful taste
Of course every entry should have a chance... it was just one of my ways to express my opinion |

Damn!
I have been so busy I forgot to post my own entry!
It represents several things all rolled into the one image: (forgive the 'e', font???):

- a RAM chip, the red dots are mnesia entities
- concurrency, the red dots are erlang processes
- the BIG E is the supervisor, coordinating all of the red dots etc
Saved as a PNG from Inkscape. Available as an SVG.[/img] |

I agree that there could be more "wow" factor in the list. I like some of the later ones but just CAN'T vote for an entry w/ an m$-looking ie-looking "E" in the logo. Sorry designer. Maybe change the "E" to a "T" and I could vote for ya.
As it is, 5 gets my vote. 9 is good and I like the story, just get rid of the hideous "E". |

HELP ME GET RID OF THE E!!
I only used that font because it was the best one I could find... if somebody knows what font they used or knows where I can find out then I'll change it!
I HATE IT, REMINDS ME OF INTERNET EXPLOITER!
Seriously, the 'e' is just there because it looks like an e, LOL |

Don't know if new logo candidates are still being accepted, but here's what I quickly draw.
Cheers,

Logo 9 is wonderfully futuristic - maby the red circles should have an 'e' on them to symbolise that the exits are trapped by the supervisor t?!?!
Cheers,

Pretty much in line with the reaction of the guys in the office .
Problem with the new logo: As most of them are Swedes, they will all think you have moved from the IE logo to the logo used for Tube signs in Stockholm. Maybe as a homage to Erlang's birthplace?
