I installed in Windows. It doesn't find the file if I start Erlang from the shortcut, but it does find the file if I start from the bin.
Do you know how to specify the path? I tried: c(..\src\test)., but it didn't work. It gives an error: syntax error before: '.' |

Try to specify a working directory in the shortcut.
Also there is the -pa parameter that specifies a folder to be searched when a module is searched for.

I encountered the same problem earlier today. I had to use the \usr directory.
Here is how I found out where I needed to save those files on my XP system: Start/Programs/Erlang/Properties, then find the 'Start In:' directory. |

I do it another way which is more basic and simpler: in each directory in which I am working I create an erlang.bat file which starts erlang. Then by clicking on it I start an erlang with default path to that directory. This saves modifying the Properties field, and forgetting to do it. |
