I know this was probably asked alot of times, but we're in the deploy step of a relatively large application, and up until now all error reporting was done using the rb module, i've just found out that connecting to a remote shell and asking for the report list doesn't work,
i was wondering what alternatives/solutions i have without having to spend many hours, replacing code or reinventing the wheel.

After some investigation i've found that most people either
1) uses a custom log handler to report to the local node connecting to the remote node;
2) uses run_erl and to_erl (which i cant quite use, both for my inexperience with erlang concepts and also because i already have a system in production which is using erl -detached to start a remote node as a daemon).
I was hopping there was an easy solution for my problem (one that doesn't involve messing with my system which is in production)
Also i cannot simple open the logs since im using a binary rotating log (error_logger_mf_dir) |
