Hiii ,
I am trying to install erlang in my ubuntu system of verion otp_src_R13B01.
but it is giving below error....

wx : Can not link the wx driver, wx will NOT be useable

then i also install wxwidget by using command
sudo apt-get install wx2.8-headers libwxgtk2.8-0 libwxgtk2.8-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev wx2.8-headers
but still problem is same...
Please suggest something.

Did you do a rebuild in a clean source tree?
Or if not you must manually remove the CONF_INFO file from previous run.
I have fixed that in the next version.
And also you need libwxgtk-gl-???
if it exists (it did on fedora I don't know what packages are needed on unbuntu).
If libwxgtk-stc exists you must have that as well.

| Also, have a look at the config.log file. It should contain the error message that the configure script got when trying to compile a test program with wx. |

I tried to find these pakages (libwxgtk-gl* and libwxgtk-stc)
but did not get it.Can you send me the link for that.

If you didn't find them they are probably included already in the packages you got.
It should be the same requirements as wxpython have.
Did you re-build from scratch?
Otherwise you have to take a look at the config.log. |
