<  Advanced Erlang/OTP  ~  How to Convert MOD Videos to MOV for Quicktime or Final Cut

"I have a JVC everio HDD camcorder. when I copy the files over to my PC they show up as MOD files and can only be played on VLC. when burned to a dvd they dont work on my dvd player.is there a software that converts these MOD to avi?" -- From Peter US



Some models of the JVC, Panasonic and Canon Digital Camcorder record videos to .MOD video format. However, most of the media player and editing software such as Quicktime, iMovie and Final Cut on mac all don't support .mod videos.To fix the problem, you should convert Mod to other popular format video, for example convert Mod to AVI, then you can edit them in Windows Movie Maker and iMovie.
