| I'm getting sporadic emails to the account I registered here at the forum, wasn't the purpose of the website to not use email (lists). |

What does the mail say ?
Is it a heads-up that you have gotten a reply on a
previous post of yours ?
Take a look at your profile page and see if you can switch
of any possible mail generating switch.

Nops it is complete messages, mostly from you :-)
It looks like I have subscribed to a mailing list, and yes I have been disabling any kind of
email respons in the profile.
Edit:
Actually in the last days they have only come from you, maybe you cc me in every post :-)
Example: (the latest one)
How to setup your own Web server with Yaws
tobbe
<tnt@home.se> to erlang-questio.
Yet another HowTo is now available at:
http://www.trapexit.org/docs/howto/howto_setup_yaws.html

Hm...I sent that message yesterday via the erlang-questions forum.
So I guess everyone that subscribes to the erlang-questions list got it.
Don't you subscribe to the erlang-questions list ?
Did you get the message twice ?
There are a couple of "bridged" (i.e a forum is connected to a mailing list)
forum groups that are supposed to work in both directions. We were hoping
that it would be possible to set it up so that anyone can choose to
use either the old mail-based method or the new phpBB method of
sending/reading to/from the list.

Yeah I'm subscribed to the erlang-mailing list but that is to my workaccount, here I registered with my gmail account. But I'm getting (only) your posts to to my gmail account and I don't want them there. It seems to be a bug somewhere..
Hmm I checked my mail-erlang-questions and I didn't get them there..
I.e. your posts
"How to setup your own Web server with Yaws"
and "Standalone Erlang Howto"
Didn't reach the mailing list, but was sent to the email I registered with here on the trapexit forums. |

Ok, but that means that you probably get mail
from other people too if they are posting from
the trapexit-forums ?

Tobbe can fix this, or??
I miss all posts posted from trapexit, they don't reach the mailing list, since they arrive in my private mail box. |
