Also Tuesday, the Bengals signed free-agent tight end Richard Quinn. He was Denver's second-round draft pick in 2009. The Broncos released him last August, and he signed with Washington and played in one game with Adidas Style HYbrid TY-pe-C W. He's been primarily a blocker, having only one catch in his career. And I usually do pretty well. I may not get the score correct but I usually have a pretty good winning percentage when it comes to picking games. So let's go ahead and take a look at week one. Here are my predictions for week one of the 2012 NFL season.
This will be a good game. Aaron Rodgers at home and facing one of the best defenses in the league, what's not to like? I think this game will be close at first but the Packers will ultimately win. They have too much offense and the 49ers don't have enough. Pack wins their home opener 24-16. Look for the Steelers again to ride into the playoffs in good position, and for the Ravens to sneak in behind them.

There have been many other seasons before which the Steelers are dismissed as old, transitioning, and less than intimidating.
