I am just trying to do a HTTP GET on a URL:
$http:request(get, {"http://www.msn.com", []}, [], []).
And I receive the following error. Any idea whats wrong? I am using R12B-2 on Mac OSX.

Hi Sacharya,
you need to start inets application first.
Code:
application:start(inets).
When ever you see an error that says "noproc" it means that something wasn't started.

That works. I had gone through the docs quite a number of times, but somehow I always seemed to ignore the instructions for starting inet.
I am sorry for being so stupid. |
