"6/14/07 ErlyWeb 0.7.1: ErlyWeb 0.7.1 is released! " gives an
impression of an inactive project.

The year should be 08 i guess.

I hope the project is actively maintained? Is it?

You should get 0.7.2 from the google code erlyweb site. 0.7.1 is
missing some stuff like mysql which one must manually add.

I initially got 0.7.1 and it was an unnecessary hassle to get it to
work. I don't recall whether that version generated the files for the
component html_container, so none of examples worked for me.

ErlyWeb is actively maintained but development has slowed down mostly
because ErlyWeb's development has been need-driven and its current
feature set addresses pretty well the important requirements for
building webapps. (Most of ErlyWeb's development has been driven by
Vimagi and Twoorl.) One could always add features to a framework but
I'd rather keep ErlyWeb lighweight and only add features if they're
truly needed and not just because other frameworks may have them.
Also, if anyone would like to contribute useful enhancements I'll be
happy to accept them.
