<  Yaws mailing list  ~  Yaws in daemon mode

Hi,

I am using Yaws for dynamic html with version 1.88,

I have a situation where I have to start up yaws when server starts or reboots, so I have started up yaws with rc.local file with full path to start up yaws in daemon mode.

This is successfull. But when I try to get some command line commands such as "yaws --status, --stop" I get a result No yaws system responds. but when i try to find ps -ef, I would see an entry with yaws. Even if I try to kill the process, with port already in use. I am unable start yaws unless i restart again by diabling yaws on the start up. Any work around or solution for this?

Am i doing anything wrong?

BTW, I am using CentOS 5.5
