I am developing a web service using Yaws as the web server and Mnesia as the database. I am in the preliminary design / prototype stage and have a (noob) question:
(if this is the wrong forum, please point me in the right direction.)
Since Yaws already uses a process for each client connection, can I handle the Mnesia interaction in the Yaws appmod, or should I pass messages to a separate OTP database server anyway?
If I should create the database server, does your experience suggest I should do it from the beginning, or can I add it later when I have a lot of the functionality working?
Thanks,
