Hi,
What actually is happening in such a scenario?
After small tests I have noticed that my gen_server process has terminated but terminate() callback was not called at all. Why?
Best Regards

| How was the gen_server terminated? If it was with exit(kill) then it has no chance of calling terminate(). Try starting sasl and see what information it provides. |

| Gen_servers issues are often caused by open source conflictions. You have a third-party event trying to communicate with another one, and they can't. It's like trying to install a Mac driver on Vista. Sounds like you need a professional computer repair guy. I hear some people use Angie's List because you can find someone local and check their reviews. Good luck. |
