For the life of me I can't think of a nice way to do it!
Does anybody know the simplest way to syntax check a file without actually compiling it. Because you run "svn ci .." from any folder in a tree, the compile may or may not work because of include path issues so I just want to be able to at least know that nobody is checking in files that contain syntax errors! Hey, it happens!
PHP has the "php -l filename" which is what we use for our PHP code... is there something similar for Erlang?
I am currently playing with code from here: http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/FlymakeErlang but somehow it all seems a little too much work for a simple syntax check.
