Recent bought a Canon EOS Kissx4 (550D) and filmed a little this weekend, when I come to import into Vegas (Pro 9 64bit) the clips work at first but end up lagging then just showing as a black screen in the preview window. If I import one or two clips then it's fine, but when I get to around the 6th clip it lags, then they all turn black.
Anyone happen to know a better fix than converting the files? All I've thought to try so far is changing my QuickTime back to an older version but that did nothing. The clips work fine in all other editing programs I've tried.
Guessing it's a codec problem, but can't figure out what to do to fix it.
If anyone has any advice whatsoever I'd appreciate it, even if it's how you get around the problem without losing quality.
