<  Ejabberd mailing list  ~  problem starting ejabberd

I've installed ejabberd from the ports system on FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE.
Shortly after I start ejabberd, it displays the following error:

When I was testing ejabberd, I was testing it under the same
environment, only on a different machine. I'm not sure what may have
changed between platforms, but if anyone could direct me to the source
of this error, I'd greatly appreciate it.
