It would seem that the world in general has gone SOAP crazy. Wether this is a good or a bad thing is open for debate. However, it would seem that not having SOAP tools in Erlang is a mistake.

There is erlsoap but that has been hanging in limbo for at least 2 years now and is only half the story.
What we need is something that will read WSDL files and create Erlang stubs and skeletons. It would also be nice to be able to generate a WSDL from an annotated .erl file.
Last but not least, a soap module for Yaws would complete the tools needed to satisfy all your SOAP needs in Erlang.

Look here: http://forum.trapexit.org/viewtopic.php?t=6331
I have merged erlsoap with erlsom, so SOAP client and server now are easy.

Still not excellent, but already fillfull my needs in simplicity.
