Hello together,

I now did some testing.
http://www.jabber.ru/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=311 is what I'm searching for.
I don't want to read the VCARDs.

Anyway, I can't use this patch as it is implemented, problem is as follows:
I can add users to shared roster with nicks. That works fine. Users see
the contact with the nick I entered in the web interface. So far so good.
But: If the user renames the contact or moves it to another group the
subscription
is gone. That's a no go.

Did I make any misstake or is it a bug?

Thank you for your help...I believe shared rosters with given nicks is a
breaking
feature that makes the projekt more interesing for many many people and
especially
companies.

When ejabberd supports PEP this is not needed anymore in case your
client supports the User Nickname XEP.
